I havent used UltraVNC or RealVNC for some time, so unsure but I will likely try them out. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of TeamViewer. TeamViewer alternatives are mainly Remote Desktop Tools but may also be Web Conferencing Tools. Seems like TeamViewer was the only one that did all this? I've tried: Other interesting free Mac alternatives to TeamViewer are NoMachine, X2Go, RustDesk and VNC Connect. Supports the disabling of remote input and blacks out the remote screens I found Remote PC - Which supports multi-monitor, but only 1 window at a time (I have 8 monitors on the remote systems) and it felt very slow with some lag. So those are out, unless I missed some options
Thats the final straw and I'm done using the software.Ĭan anyone recommend a free TeamViewer alternative that allows for:Ĭonnect without using private IP's (NoMachine and LiteManager don't seem to support this and use the systems IP even if it's a private network / RFC1918 - 10/172/192). In addition to creating multiple accounts or using other methods to circumvent the "Commercial Use Suspected" blocking, today I go to use TeamViewer, only to find out that 'blank remote screen' and 'disable remote input' are now a paid feature. I have been using TeamViewer (personal/free version) to connect from work, to my home servers.
